Ban Coffee

So I watched this story on CNN about the levels of caffeine in Monster Energy Drink.

I'm astounded that people are so concerned about the levels of caffeine. There are so many other things we should be worried about.

Yeah so some kid died from drinking 2 Monsters in a 24hr period from myocarditis.
(for those who didnt take medical term inflammation of the cardiac muscles.)

If we are so worried about caffeine then maybe they should ban coffee. I can distinctly remember that Mr.Thomas (my gov/eco teacher) one morning in class gave the class a warning that if he started twitching in the back it was because Cookie made the coffee in the teachers lounge that day.
He did seem wired most of the morning.

Its stated in the in the news story that a Starbucks coffee(grande) is about 330mg of caffeine, where as a 8oz of Monster is about 80 mg.

Monster is going to start labeling as a beverage instead of a dietary supplement. My question is who thought it was a supplement? I sure as hell didnt.

Just watch the video, I think the attorney who talks is just stupid. he seems so worried and concerned. Pretty soon everyone will get worked up about some other food or beverage and it will be a nutritional uproar that no one will pay attention to.

If everyone is so concerned about nutrition and the caffeine levels and if its harmful or not to their bodies, their kids bodies..then there wouldnt be an obesity problem.

I mean really? Monsters? Caffeine levels? Now I personally drink Monsters every now and again. I actually prefer Redbull.

If they start wanting to mess with coffee, all hell will break loose.I know too many people who would murder if they didnt have their coffee in the morning...

God have mercy on their souls if they do..
