Sunny Beaches

I don't care about the screaming children kicking up sand, trying to bury their younger siblings while their mother screams to be careful. I don't care about the over weight people in their overly loud Hawaiian shirts, or the clothing they attempt t squeeze themselves into that are obviously over 2 sizes too small. I don't care about the young puppy love  couple who can't keep their hands off of each other to the extent tat most people would bet money they might "do it" on the beach in front of God and everybody.

When I go to the beach I don't focus on the people who are on the beach, I can just watch the waves, feel the breeze, listen to the waves crashing into the pier, the splashing from the kids, the laughter of pure happiness.

I have never been to the sunny beaches in Texas.

I have bee told about it, but never been to it.

I was told:
-the water isn't blue, its brown
-you can't surf
-if you go into the water deep enough you will get a ta line from where the water hits

All of these things, less than appealing.

I know, I'm being biased because I'm from California, and I grew up with those sunny beaches but, I don't care. I have never been to the beaches in Texas. I am not emotionally prepared to deal with the lack of amazement.

The beach was never just a beach. The beach has always been a place of tranquility, sanity, and peace.

I miss the beach, i miss feeling like there was nothing else in the world but the wonderful beach, the relaxing breezes and me.

Maybe, the sunny beaches here in Texas won't be that bad....Hopefully...
